My “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” is currently set to 40 and it is working.
SiteGround responded very quickly to my ticket and resolved the issue.
Apparently the Maximum execution time for each scan stage was set too high. They adjusted this value and the scan runs properly now.
Big thanks to SiteGround for resolving it quickly.

I have opened a ticket with SiteGround and will see if they can fix the problem.
I’ll post an update when I hear back.

In reply to: [Easy Post Series] Problems withI encountered this same issue. I deactivated all my plugins and then reactivated them one at a time to find the conflict. Turns out it was the Yoast SEO plugin that was conflicting.
I will deactivate the Yoast plugin for now but would appreciate a fix since I would like to use it and the Easy Post Series plugin.
