We just released version 1.2.0 which addresses this! We’ve reworked the database to store content per page, so there’s no longer a character limit issue. Just re-index your PDFs and everything should work correctly for large files.

Thank you for the suggestion. This is a valid use case for large PDFs.
We’ll add an option in the settings page to override the current pdf_content limit in one of the upcoming updates so you can increase it based on your needs.
