Just following up on this. The problem is with the RabbitLoader plugin and not Beacon. Our users find that when your plugin is disabled the scripts are not duplicated; RabbitLoader is calling the script multiple times.

Thanks for getting in touch and apologies for not chasing up on the WP forums.
It’s an interesting point about chapters and one that we hadn’t considered. Our typical use case is for marketing materials rather longer form books. As such we didn’t anticipate eBooks longer than say 20-30 pages. I can see how this is frustrating for you.
I’m actively working on improving the plugin at the moment. We can add a select all button. As for the ordering by category I will see if and how we could best integrate this.

Sorry to hear about the problem you’ve been having. It sounds like it’s a memory issue with your server. Do you have the option to increase server memory? If so this should do the trick.

It looks like there is some problem with your version of PHP. I notice that you are trying it locally on computer. Have you tried it on a live webserver?

You can install it on as many blogs as you wish. Each blog needs to connect with a Beacon account. There is no problem in connecting multiple blogs to the same site.

I can now see why found that part of the terms so discouraging and I want to allay any concerns you might have.
Just to be clear:
– we will never try and assume ownership or intellectual property rights of your content. It is yours.
– we will never try and re-sell or re-use your content
– we will never sell any of your details onto third parties.This part of the licensing terms is simply needed in order for your content to published on our website or for us to export it to PDF. I admit it does sound rather sinister, though.
For reference, here is the offending sentence: ‘By submitting, posting or displaying User Content you give us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty free, and non exclusive license to facilitate publication of User Content through Beacon.’
Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention. Hopefully this clears the matter up.
