In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Not logged in for top post but are for all othersOK will try that out but isn’t this behavior not right in the first place?
That is shouldn’t WP always show the user/subscriber as logged in on all pages, whether the page is loaded from cache or not? What makes this all harder for me to understand is why this situation only affects the most recent post but not older ones or the landing page?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Not logged in for top post but are for all othersOK I think I have what you are after as two screen captures from the browser tools. I stepped away for a bit for lunch, game back and hit refresh on the post page and no longer sees me as logged in. Hit the landing page link and I am.

In reply to: Not logged in for top post but are for all othersI’m sorry if I was not clear – it is not that the comment form is hidden, it is that the comment form displayed is the one for a non-logged in user (ie, name, email, etc)
The site uses LS cache

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Plugin leaves last commenter name/emailOK – just did one test myself, seems to be working now. I’ll leave everything enabled and see if any complaints from the commenters. Thanks for your assistance!
A bit beyond me – will that comment_author code change in the future? That is, is it tied to the specific version of wordpress installed? Is it linked to the theme? If so, where would I find it so I can update myself in the future without bothering anyone on here again?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Plugin leaves last commenter name/emailHi – I just checked to be sure – enabled LS, posted from a different browser without the save name option, refreshed in another browser and it worked properly. So yes, it only happens when LS is enabled and the user checks to save their details for next time.

In reply to: Subscriber button + post notificationThanks! I actually stumbled on post-notify-users over coffee this morning, will be testing with just admins later. Also think I have found another plugin to handle the subscriber side of things, was able to verify it drops them directly into wp user db and not something else. Fingers crossed.

In reply to: Subscriber button + post notificationThe subscribers only want/need a notification of a new posts, they do not even need the content of the post. Again, we’d prefer to avoid anything involving wordpress.com (which seems to include Jetpack from my reading of the plug-in details)

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Plugin leaves last commenter name/emailReport number: NPUQKDAN
You probably have two very similar, I didn’t read the fine print before sending the first so did not save the report # to post here. Sorry!

In reply to: comment form leaving prior user detailsDisabling litespeed plugin entirely eliminated the problem so yes, appears related to that in some way. I’ll try as you suggest to contact them, probably the default configuration is too aggressive. Thanks
