    Hi Alan,

    Thank you for responding…I truly appreciate it!

    1. I corrected my CSS. You were right, it had no effect.

    2. I must admit, I probably should have taken a WordPress course by now. I previously did everything in HTML. BTW, I’m using the “TwentyTwenty” Theme.

    3. I’m having difficulty trying to “add blank lines” to my Home Page. Unlike the other pages on my site where I can add anything (text, image, etc.) through the Block editor, that function isn’t available on my home page. I tried adding blank lines to the Footer (through the Customize Menu> “Widgets” Sub-Menu), but that did not work.

    4. In the Customize Menu>”Home Page Settings” Sub-Menu, I have a choice between displaying 1) Your latest posts; 2) A static page. I’m currently using Option #1. Would it be better for me to select Option #2 (this requires me to create two additional pages (one for my home page, one for my posts).

    I’m willing to do the work to make this right, versus having it occur every time WordPress updates.

    Thanks again for your help,
    Jamie

    Closing this thread out. If I rescale the Portrait images to the same width as the Landscape images, then the Caption Text is centered.

    Malcolm,

    I understand your explanation. Unfortunately, I didn’t choose the width of the content area. Both my text (at the top) and the block image are placed automatically. I’m assuming this is because of the theme I’m using (TWENTYTWENTY).

    Given this limitation, are there any other solutions you might offer that would fix the issue? I’ve thought about inserting the eah image into a 2-row table (1st row used for the image and 2nd row used for the caption), but this is a lot more work.

    I do appreciate your time!

    Hi Malcolm!

    I spent a few hours searching the forums and I found the code below which reduced the space between my Menu and the Image. Thanks for your help before!

    .home .entry-header {
    display: none;
    }

    Hi Malcolm! Can’t thank you enough for providing that coding! I just tried both and they work as advertised! I’ll play around with the font sizing to get an idea of what works best for me.

    One thing I did notice (and I think this falls into Problem #3 above) is that even if I remove the Page Name completely, there is still a significant amount of space between where the Menus are displayed and where my image is. I thought I saw a post in the forum yesterday on how to resize the horizontal “Banner” area, but now I can’t find it anymore. If you have any ideas on this issue, I will be most appreciative! Many Thanks!
