Thank you Lucian, you have sharp eye for details.
- The code has been copy pasted in the correct location via the instructions from WordPress thanks to the Network Setup guide. I think the quotes has slightly changed inside this post.
- That is indeed a missing char due to copy paste error on my end.
- I don’t know why the asterisk * char is missing from the post. The file I copied from has them in it, in the right places as described by you.
I have followed the guide and many others to try and figure out my problem. But all come with the same answers. There is a small difference with the code between multi site domain or multi site folder. The same for the Apache worpress.conf file. All answers come back to AllowOverride All.
Since the new site is generated in the MySql database my guess is, there is a step missing either inside WordPress where the new link is broken and not connected to the data, or the new link isn’t registered with Apache. But I am new to all of this and haven’t worked out the inner workings yet.
