After new installation the plugin works and the subscribers are there. Thanks a lot.
Or is it better to backup only the folder wp-content/plugins/newsletter from my backup my webhoster has done today afternoon?
Hi Stefano,
thanks for your help. I updated from the recent plugin version (last version before the newest update)
I connected with ftp and delete the folder wp-content/plugins/newsletter. The website is back! Under wordpress plugin site I got the error message now (german version):Das Plugin newsletter/plugin.php wurde in Folge eines Fehlers deaktiviert: Die Plugindatei existiert nicht.
in english: The plugin newsletter / plugin.php was deactivated as a result of an error: The plugin file does not exist.
Now I lost my newsletter and the names and emailadresses of my subscribers.
After the defective update, only the following five files were in the folder wp-content/plugins/newsletter:
– plugin.php
– readme
– style
– tnp-footer.php
– tnp-header.phpIn the backup from my webhoster from today afternoon there are also the folders there, which are all gone after the faulty update:
– css
– emails
– images
– includes
– main
– profile
– statistics
– subscription
– users
– widgetIs it advisable to backup only the folder wp-content/plugins/newsletter to get the pre-state back with my data?
Greetings
