  • I have just installed the wp-dbmanager, as im following a Webinar replay, and on the dashboard now it says this which ive copied and pasted for you :

Your backup folder is NOT writable
To correct this issue, make the folder /home2/poppies/public_html/wp-content/backup-db writable.
Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public
To correct this issue, move the file from /home2/poppies/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager/htaccess.txt to /home2/poppies/public_html/wp-content/backup-db/.htaccess
To correct this issue, move the file from /home2/poppies/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager/index.php to /home2/poppies/public_html/wp-content/backup-db/index.php
Click here to let WP-DBManager try to fix it
    Plugin activated.

    what does this mean?
do i have to act on this? if so all of it? or which bit and how please?
this is extremely frustrating for a newbie like me who is trying to follow this webinar replay, and when i told them they said:

not our product so we can’t really offer support for
it, this issue seems like a standard file permission setting issue.

What you will need to do is to go to those folders and change the file
    permissions to make them writable:
https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Changing_File_Permissions If you are not familiar with how to do this the best thing would be
to contact your host and ask them to change the file permissions for those
    folders.

so my other question is , is it wordpress that can help me? or hostgators.com, my host site ??? sorry im so confused
