BenI actually found out it was a memory issue with a setting my hosting company was using so everything is now working!

After troubleshooting with the plugin you recommended, the site was crashing without using up hardly any memory and it turned out to be a hosting issue.
They recommended to add ‘RLimitMEM MAX’ to the .htaccess file, which seems to have done the trick.

Thanks for coming back to me.
I’m also using the latest versions of WP, WC & Storefront. When I disable all of my plugins (except for WC) and enable Storefront as the template, I’m still having the same issue with both URLs:
domain.com/product-category/parent-category/subcategory/
domain.com/product-category/subcategory/Any thoughts?
As I hadn’t heard back yet, I’ve carried out some more troubleshooting and it looks like your plugin is conflicting with several of my other plugins.
If any of the following plugins are active at the same time as your plugin then the products page in admin doesn’t work:

When you create a subcategory, wordpress allows the subcategory to be accessed from 2 URLs:
1st http://www.domain.com/parent-category/subcategory/
2nd. http://www.domain.com/subcategory/Search engines will see this as duplicate content unless one of the pages is set as the “canonical” URL.
