There was an empty folder with the name of the URL we were trying to use sitting on our web host. No idea how it got there, but deleting the folder solved the error. Apparently, the standard WordPress editor could ignore that folder but the Elementor page builder didn’t like.
Thank you again! This one was beyond puzzling.
Thanks cavalierlife, the page was created with Elementor and when I duplicate the page it’s editable – which is why I ruled out what you’re saying.
But as soon as I change the rebuilt or duplicated page’s permalink to the URL we’d like to use, it’s no longer editable.
It’s the strangest behavior.

For those that may have the same problem. It turns out this a conflict between the plugin and Divi. I was able to get it working by following these instructions:

Generally, if this is the issue you’ll get an error in your Console when you inspect the page in Chrome. I’m not getting any error messages in Chrome or in WP debug mode. The map just doesn’t display.
Thoughts?

I would like to second konus77’s feature request, however. I’m dealing with a situation right now where the images are populated in a manner where I can’t set them as a gallery. Your plugin is working, but it would be great if the images could be linked with the lightbox navigation.
