Fixed it. I realised I was logged in so was seeing the pages and posts. When I logged out it works.

I have updated all my plugins (while trying to work out why the old theme was still showing).
I must be missing something really simple? I feel like it should just be a case of activating something?

@kathryn how can I install this Jetpack plugin on wordpress.com? That’s what I’m using at the moment and from what I understand plugins are for ww.wp.xz.cn? Can you help?
