In reply to: [EDD Download Shortcodes] Can this be used to show specific user downloadsI should also add for what you asked about: if you have the premium version there is a loop function that allows you to get the current post id for the download through a text substitution. This allows for ease of extendibility.

That said: there isn’t internal support for checking the owner, but it is possible to do. You’d have to create a new shortcode to compare the owner of the post with a given owner name.
I am, however, creating a new vendor plugin for EDD that would easily list all owned downloads itself (and would be a more fleshed out vendor system). But that is likely several months away from even starting to be ready.

That said, this should be addressed in the latest update to 1.1. You can always use profile_page=”/” as a parameter to have it just go to the main page for the user.
