1-click installer from iPage
There’s an index.php but not index.html
No ma’am I did not. It was installed on the root, i tried everything then uninstalled it, and then re-installed it again in the root 🙁

but if i go to /wordpress it shows the default theme
I’m having the same problems using multiple browsers, my host is iPage. I’m not sure if that makes a difference.
No plugin, it was a fresh install of word press yesterday.
