    Hi.

I tried using the settings storefront came wuth, but it would only list the products on the home page. The youtube link i was given is to a video showing how to make the changes, but even that did not work. After a couple of days of searching, I found a plugin that changes the layout.

I would expect this to come with the plugins you need to get at least the demo view, but I am clearly in the minority.

On the other hand, perhaps others have also found the theme is just like all the rest and not said anything negitive to avoid being targeted by die hard supporters.

The theme is designed by Woo commerce, yet the theme does not work with Woocommerce.

I seen the video before, but even when I followed the video, it MADE NO DIFFERENCE.

If the best you can do is go looking for info to have a go at people who don’t think the same way as you, then I am sure you would do well in government.

Do you actually read what I say or are you just here to defend the theme designers?

At no point did I say I wanted an instant fix. The theme preview has the categories on the home page. When I use it, it has the individual products. What you seem to be saying is If I want categories on the home page instead of the products, I need to redesign the theme.

What is the point of this theme, when I ccould just as easily redesign another theme to get the same thing?

It is installed with Woocommerce i am perfectly aware thst there are no products in it, i have to add them.

If I have to design it to get the home page to have the categories in a grid, rather than the products, what is the point of the theme? I could do that with any theme. There is no point in producing a theme if people then need to go and design it.

People don’t like negitive comments, but it happens. If the designers of the theme were bothered about reviews, then they would at least ask for a bit more info.

On the preview the basic theme has the categories in a grid layout with images on the home page. When you start to use it, it list the products in a grid layout on the home page. Sorry, but that is just stupid.

The changes to suit your own needs, such as what widgets to use and where to use them is something that needs to be done to suit your own needs, that is understandable and easy to do.

The idea it is free therefore you should not expect the home page to look like they suggest is just plain stupid.

You could use the basic theme it comes with when you install it on WordPress and get the same thing.

There is no point to this theme.

    Hi.
It is a self-hosted version. I can install Woocommerce easy enough, but I just can’t get the links to look normal or get any of the themes to look the way they look in the preview.

    Hi.

    Thanks for the reply.

Regarding number 1. Woocommerece supply themes. You can either pay for them or get free themes. I was wondering how I get a theme from Woocommerece and then use it on the wordpress site. I know I can download themes to my computer and then upload it to the site (I think), but that is all I know.

Regarding 2). Sorry, but I have no idea what the screenshots are meant to be showing me.
