In reply to: cforms II – upgradesI had asked the same question in the cforms forum and the response was along the lines of “no one is *forced* to upgrade” and that there is little chance the plugin is going to make it back on wp.org ever.
While I’d rather have it auto update-able of course, he has a point. Anyway, many of my installs (customer & personal sites) I don’t update, or at least not every time a new version or patch is available. Some other customer sites I do update, but I also get paid for it – so I don’t complain about that either.
…alternative to cforms? I haven’t found one, trust me I’ve looked at all the other plugins and not even one comes remotely close…

In reply to: Cforms 10 – manual or auto update?I’ve had no issues with the WP2.7 auto update feature & cforms. Worked like a charm. However, I’ve been told that on occasion the WP upload/update process can corrupt files (e.g. font files)…

In reply to: cforms 8.6 hangs at “one moment please”Hm. I’ve been using cforms for ages and it’s by far the most robust and feature rich form plugin out there. The few issues I had in the past where all related to server or configuration errors on my end.
What were your problems?
Have you checked the cforms forum? There are lots of helpful discussions going on there, not always easy to search/track down, but Oliver who runs it is super helpful.

In reply to: Trouble activating cformsIII’ve had this once before and quickly deactivating and re-activating solved it (don’t click the checkbox, click the link!). Also, try to logout and log back in before you try the above!
Looks like a general WP2.6 issue with accepting a handful of new options set by cforms.
