In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] open_basedir problemMy host has come back with another response:
I am afraid that the information shared with you below is not fully correct and the suggestion shared with you is also not accurate or feasible. The problem with the folder path that is incorrectly specified (/includes/fbwpml.php) is that it is trying to write to a file () within a folder (), directly located within the root partition of a server. No domain hosted on our environment has access to folders or files within the root partitions of our servers. The suggestion they have made is therefore not a viable solution. The folder path needs to be specified correctly so that it finds and writes to the file located within your domains website directory, and not the servers root directory.
Please help? I’m not a developer so this is all over my head…
Thanking you in advance.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] open_basedir problemHello @apmwebdev
Thanks so much for your speedy response 🙂
I’ve checked in with my web host and they are saying that the error is caused because “the coding is attempting to access a server path to which it does not have access to”.
They say that the problem lies here:
./wp-content/plugins/facebook-for-woocommerce/includes/fbwpml.phpLook forward to hearing back from you.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] open_basedir problemI’m getting the same error :'(
I’d like to confirm that from my side this problem ‘magically’ resolved itself. Unfortunately I can not give you any insight about why or how, it seems to be one of those development black holes…it did not work one day and then worked the next.
Thanks to the team for this awesome plugin 🙂Hello 🙂
Same problem here.

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Error messageHey YOP Team 🙂 You guys rock! Thanks for your awesome work!
I have used the advise given here to fix error text, but what happens when there is an update to the plugin, do I need to update it again?
There is a spelling error on one of the default error messages.
“To many answers!” it should be “Too many” or “Too few”.Thanks.
Awesomeness! Installed updated version and it’s working 100%
Oh have I mentioned that you rock! 🙂 ThanksForum: Plugins
In reply to: [NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster] Facebook Comments (Version 2.7.17)I have all my WordPress comment set to be held for moderation and “An administrator must always approve the comment”. So no comments are ever just approved I have to manually approve them.
Then in your setting I have “Auto-approve imported comments” unchecked.
But they are approved anyway. ??

In reply to: [NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster] Facebook Comments (Version 2.7.17)Hello,
Thanks for the speedy response.
I have upgraded to 2.7.18 and it is now importing the comments from Facebook. Great improvement, thanks 🙂
Unfortunately I see that it ignores my request NOT to auto approve. I have “Auto-approve imported comments” unchecked but it approves them automatically.
