Maybe I should have explained better.

There is an warning in the update in backend that says the plugin doesn’t work with “my” version of PHP (v8.0 which I’m running). This forces me to update to minimum PHP v8.1, but as far as I can see this is the only plugin that until now requires minimum PHP v8.1, so I need to go through each and every of my plugins to test them for PHP v8.1, just to run the update for WP Opcache.

Also, as a wrote, the changelog only states that the lowest required PHP is v8.0. There is nothing mensioned about it requiring a higher version than that. Still, it is required.
