In reply to: custom site – Web 2.0 with AjaxThanks whooami for that little tidbit… I didnt know. My stats link is now gone.
Haecceity, very cute. Was it expensive to adopt? I am interested in adopting someday as well.

In reply to: custom site – Web 2.0 with AjaxThanks for the constructive criticism. I agree with the headers being clunky, I wish the PC had font smoothing. View it on a Mac and it is a good size. I normally do not like to design just for Mac, but in this case I made an exception.
I fixed the black commas. Good find.
I added the icons for the site you will be going to from my main header bar. photos – goes to flickr, and links – goes to del.icio.us.
Thanks for the kind words about my daughter.

In reply to: Site revamped — would like feedbackVery nice use of WordPress. The slight diagonal of the footer confused me for a second. I had to pull out my ruler to see if my eyes were tricking me.
Very interesting way of handling so many pages. Are all those pages needed? I usually tell the people I work create sites for to assess all of their information and trim things down so things are not so daunting for the end user. I looked at a few pages and liked what I saw for the most part.
I would personally probably tweek the spacing of headers in relation to the content. I would put more room above the header of an article, and less room below it. So it looks like it is still part of the text below it. It will also give more visual breathing room in between articles. (The page I am mostly referring to is the blog section)
I do like how you have your main content as the focal point of each page. That is the way it should be.
I really like the way you handled the tags area on the home page. Very nice.

In reply to: MoshuBlog.comLooks very much like a blog. The left side is clean and easy to read. But my eye keeps moving towards the middle column. It is very busy and full of colorful areas. There is a lot of text in that column and draws most of the attention.
Are the 3 columns needed? Do you need to have so much going on in such a thin column? If your main reason for the blog is the news you write, then that should be the focal point.
Just my two cents.

In reply to: Age of Conan open blog!Looks pretty good. Easy to read, except I am not into white text on a dark background when there is a lot of text to be read. I like how you dont have too much bunched up together in your sidebar. I also like how you handled the headers and date. nice.

In reply to: The Last Brain CellIt looks nice and clean.
I have a question : Why do you have 2 header graphics? In my opinion, the large one is a bit distracting. It would look nice and clean with the thin top banner… just a thought.

In reply to: Truncated exportI too have found that my exported xml files have been truncated. I have posts ranging from 2001 – 2007 but its only doing about the first 4 years worth. All of the recent posts are not being written to the xml file.
Is there a limit of how many posts can be exported?

In reply to: using wordpress for my siteThanks Lorelle, though your site may have a lot of information, I would have to argue how accessible it really is… the reader may not be interested in the look…?
no offense.

In reply to: using wordpress for my siteI am not using any styles actually. I changed the .css completely and re-coded almost all of the html within wordpress. Thanks for the advice. Wonder if white on black would be any better?
