In reply to: [wp-Monalisa] WordPress 5.5Please don’t mark a problem as resolved until it has actually been fixed – I’m sure I am not the only one who is still being plagued by this warning.

In reply to: ERROR: The email address isn’t correct. Many thanks for this info – I have wasted most of the morning trying to sort this out and restoring a previous version of the CloudFlare plugin has solved the problem for me. There is now an error posted for this problem.

In reply to: [Cloudflare] ERROR: The email address isn’t correct.I would strongly recommend that this change is withdrawn until it is correct. As well as wrecking my comment process it also prevented me from setting up new users.
I am indebted to Branndons who identified the problem in another support post for saving me from further grief. Restoring a previous version of this plugin has fixed the problem for me.

In reply to: [Gwolle Guestbook] Import screen not fully displayedSorry I didn’t reply earlier but I’ve been away for the weekend. The development version did everything I wanted, so thanks very much.
There have been several updates to this plugin and the promised filter does not appear to have been added yet.

In reply to: Add back support for "Paste from MS Word"If you don’t like the new “paste from Word” functionality and you are using Word 2007 or later there is a vastly superior alternative – use the “File / Share / Post to Blog” option. I have added the two icons (Post to Blog and Publish as Draft) to the Quick Access Toolbar to make life a lot easier.
Here’s a page I prepared earlier:
Thanks
That works well.

In reply to: WP 3.9 beta 2: Image features (not a bug)This very new plugin addresses some of the shortcomings. Apparently those of us who use borders and padding are in a minority so we don’t matter, according to one WordPress “Happiness” Engineer.

In reply to: WP 3.9 beta 2: Image features (not a bug)Well done – it’s now working. All I need now is the return of the styles box! If I add them manually they are lost when the picture is next edited.

In reply to: WP 3.9 beta 2: Image features (not a bug)I use Sandbox on my own self-hosted site, and on another site on WordPress.com, principally because I get more control over what is displayed.
Thanks for fixing it – I await the next beta update. However, I’m still missing the features listed above – surely they can be easily reinstated.

In reply to: WP 3.9 beta 2: Image features (not a bug)I’ve also noticed that the picture edit and delete buttons do not show when editing a large picture, say 1024 pixels wide. This appears to be because a) the picture disappears off the right side of the screen, with no ability to access it even in fullscreen mode, and b) the buttons have been moved from the left to the right.

In reply to: WP 3.9 beta 2: Image features (not a bug)I agree with all the above and would like to add the Title and Styles boxes to the list of missing features. Yes, you can code them in the text/html view but losing them is hardly an enhancement.
On the brighter side, the new image scaling facility is a great improvement on the old +/- 10% check boxes.
