In reply to: How to make King Text widget work in 2.2I like Otto’s widget but the King widget allows you to decide what pages to have them appear on. As such, I have my archives only show on single or archive pages.
I am sure there is a way to do this with code but that is beyond my ability.
I have waited to upgrade my main site until I see if the author upgrades the King widgets.
BTW, I use Otto’s and the fix worked fine.

In reply to: Sidebar widgets and only showing on homepageDelete the King framework and widgets and the blog should be OK. I have had trouble with King since 2.2 and all the repairs have not completely worked. I wrote a comment at the King site so I hope he will see it. There were other, similar comments, there.

In reply to: How to make King Text widget work in 2.2I followed the instructions above and while the widget will now work without breaking my site, when I open the widget none of the js associated with it seems to be working even though the path to the King Includes is correct.
Any ideas?

In reply to: Comment goes to maillist/index.phpWell, I have isolated the problem. It is the sign-up form for the email notification plugin. It calls to mallist/index.php.
The comment form and the submit form share common names so I guess that is the problem. When I comment out the sign up form I can post a comment.
If anyone has any ideas they are welcome!

In reply to: spellcheck for 2.0.2I was using the Cold Forged Spell Checker but it was acting strangely in 2.x and taking forever to work. I switched to the AJAX Spell Checker and it, so far, has worked well.

In reply to: Democracy Poll questionI use Democracy and I do not have the number of the poll in the (). You should configure everything from the admin panel Manage –> Democracy. Put what you want in the poll and then activate it. If you have that bit of code in your template the poll should show up (remember, it has to be active). Then when you deactivate it the poll is gone.
This allows you to make a different poll without having to edit the template each time.

In reply to: Colapsable sidebar menusTake a look at my right side bar and click on each of the gray tabs. If this is like what you are looking for contact me via the Holler box below that.
I have some old code somebody wrote and they do not support it (I can’t even find it anymore) but I will be happy to send it to you and you can see if it works for you.
