Here is something weird. Maybe this will help in solving this issue.

The error as I explained in my last post is happening on Hostgator and 1and1.

THE ERROR
Fatal error: Cannot use [] for reading in (PATH DELETED FOR SAFETY) wp-includes/load.php on line 508

When I look at the WP load.php file downloaded directly from the WP site and in the core file set line #508 looks like this:

$mu_plugins[] = WPMU_PLUGIN_DIR . '/' . $plugin;

After uploading to shared hosting server I get this:

$mu_plugins[]<?php

The quest continues. Any insight will do.
