Hi @lopo . Haven’t heard back for a while, so checking in on this. Just need a workaround for these ones (it’s not a recurring issue as far as we can tell, see note above).

    Thanks Enrico,

We have spent some time looking into this, and we do have some understanding of what happened to the article that are displaying this unfortunate behaviour (not showing revise & republish).

At one point one of our technical writers was using “new draft” instead of “revise and republish”. The solution to this is that we continued to edit the new draft and published it. Then we unpublished and trashed the previous versions.

On these articles, we do not see “revise and republish”. Also, they do not have a version history (because they’re new). Also, each one displays this message at the top of the page when we click into it in the wordpress backend:

“A duplicate of this post was made. Please note that any changes you make to this post will be replaced when the duplicate version is re-published.”

However, there is no duplicate post. As noted above, these are the “new drafts” and the originals were unpublished and trashed. We have tried republishing these articles and it doesn’t help.

If you can suggest any way to fix these, we’re happy to do that manually. Please let us know.

    Thanks!
