Yes, this issue is still ongoing and has not been resolved. We have been using a work around for the time being, but still would like to get this resolved on a permanent basis.

Just wanted to provide an update from the support at Bluehost. They sent over the following:
“We have since collected a few examples of the emails which were being sent out and have provided them to our outbound filter. They have found that there was a specific string/hash within the email that had a few reports of spam which were causing your plugin’s outbound emails to be dropped as outbound spam before they could be sent.
Out outbound filter has since updated us letting us know that they have reset their filter to accommodate this so that these emails would not be flagged moving forward. We have tested this by sending more testing broadcasts this morning to find that the emails were now being successfully delivered.”
With that, the emails were able to be sent successfully for a short period. I can send a test email and I receive that. I also was able to send 2 emails via immediate cron job within an 11 minute timeframe (1st job to myself and 2nd job to 3 subscribers) and they worked fine as well. I then attempted to send a 3rd email via immediate cron job and this email is not being sent as it did with the first 2 emails despite it saying it has been sent successfully. In fact, this 3rd email is not even generating a report (similar to the previous email attempts – both successful and unsuccessful) and I have attempted to send 4 times using the same methods as mentioned above.
Any thoughts on why this is now happening?
I have updated to version 4.02 and still have been unable to send/receive a test email or an email via cron job. The steps I followed for the cron job are Send Broadcast -> Select Template -> Select List -> Send Broadcast. I checked the Reports tab and the Broadcast appears, but I did not receive a confirmation email that anything was sent, nor did I receive anything in my inbox.
Unfortunately, this is all a foreign language to me. I really wouldn’t know where to begin to troubleshoot the steps mention at the link. Any advice on how to simplify the process (if possible) would be helpful. Thanks.
Hello, I was able to update the PHP of the site (now at 7.0.31), and get the activation to work. I then attempted to contact the host (Bluehost) for the requested SMTP information in settings, and after inputting everything I could not get the test email to work. I received the following error code.
SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: (0)SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting
The rep from Bluehost recommended I reach out with the sites PHP info to see if there was a compatibility issue.

I understand. I have went in to my web host site (Bluehost) and upgraded to 5.6 and I’m waiting to have this take affect to see if the plugins will work with that version. I have the ability to upgrade to 7.0 but this still says it’s the Beta version. Any recommendations with the 5.6 version?
