In reply to: [Audio Album] Player Not Working on iPhone iOS 16.1.2Thanks so much for more followup. We tried this. Same result on iOS 16.1 and up (so far). We installed the troubleshooting plugin you suggested, and will explore that more in-depth very soon.
We’ll keep you posted if we identify the problem.

In reply to: [Audio Album] Player Not Working on iPhone iOS 16.1.2Thanks for the response.
It’s interesting that the embeds on our site are working fine for every device we’ve tested (Brave, Chrome, FF on Win 7 & 10, multiple Android devices, multiple Mac laptops, various iPads, and even iPhones, with the exception those iPhones running iOS 16.1 or higher (you’re saying your device running 16.2 demonstrated the same behavior).
Really, thanks for your response, but it’s frustrating that so far no-one (Elementor support, or the support here) can say with any conviction where the problem lies. We also posted it as a general WordPress question (no uesful response yet), and submitted the possible “bug” to Apple as well (we don’t EVER expect a response THERE lol).
Will be a drag if we have to abandon the world of WP just to get a functioning simple audio player!

In reply to: iPhone iOS 16.1.2 and Audio BlocksEverything seems to work on every other platform (Windows, Android, most iOS devices), it’s just that one version of iOS on iPhone.
We’ll report back if we learn anything useful. Hoping someone with more savvy can surmise what the issue is, especially if it’s an Apple change that will stay in place moving forward.
Frustrating, because entertainment and music people are very likely to be on iPhones, and well-updated!

In reply to: iPhone iOS 16.1.2 and Audio BlocksThe live site is running Elementor, and the embeds are using the “Audio Album” plugin. But we have also tried an embed via the WordPress editor, as well as installing “Music Player for Elementor” and trying it. We have a ticket in with the author of Audio Album, and have already walked through a ticket with Elementor support, updating everything and disabling plugins, etc., as one usually would. They unfortunately didn’t review the problem with a phone on iOS 16.1 or higher, so I’d call that inconclusive at the moment.
We’re pretty clear at this point it’s very specific to that iOS update though, from user feedback (multiple other iPhone users have no problem, only those with that update). So we even put a bug report in with Apple. Just being thorough here, in the hope that someone somewhere will say “Oh! It’s THIS thing that’s causing it!”
