The posts were set to delete, as seen in the debug details. I’m trying to figure out whether it’s due to time zone settings, but the post expirator metabox did indicate MDT.
Any help is much appreciated.

I also have this problem, no matter the placement the icon doesn’t appear.
Yes! That worked. I wrongly assumed that on a multi-site network each site would have that table, which wouldn’t have worked for us to touch every table.
