  • Hi,

My post was regarding the use of app-themes themes of which I have an understanding as do appthemes themselves.

I wasn’t trying to be condescending by my comments of the methods of obtaining these themes but was really trying to point out the obvious regarding the differences between getting support and not getting support if this was the case.

If you wanted to create a multisite network using your examples and using the app-theme themes it can be done quite easily hence why I posted the advice to ask in the specific forum.

1- You would get a very detailed answer
2 – They know what you can and can’t do with those specific themes

For any other themes you were ‘thinking’ of using then the same applies.

Go and visit the forums of the themes you might want to use and see if the answers to some of your questions are posted on there.

**(1)install all apps (like classifieds, others) as separate subdomains like: app11.domain.com,
    app2.domain.com
    etc

and provide links on home page of domain.com

Yes but you would have to create a landing page/theme on domain.com then add the links to this homepage which redirect to the sub-domains.

Shame it doesn’t work – looks like it could be a good plugin.

It would be advisable to include this important factor in the plugins description if you don’t mind.

It would have saved me 20 minutes messing around trying to get it working.

Ditto. In fact this has never worked on the login forms apart from when using the widget.

This works fine in the widget purely because it is assigned to a sidebar and not a custom template page like my login form/register form and a couple of call to action buttons that redirect the user to a couple of template files pages once logged in.

I’ve noticed that the developer can’t be arsed to answer questions that he can’t answer considering that I’ve been using this – or trying to use this plugin for about 8 months.
