    Regarding the first (main) issue. I have now got it to export, after repeating. Let me just clarify the chain of events.

    1. Changed sitewide header (blocksy theme – appearence settings)
    2. Generate (Update mode) – only one minor change commited (a 404 page I’d added)
    3. Generate (Export mode) – no commit at all this time.
    4. Manually change page and Publish, this time auto export updated that page only correctly.
    5. Tried to run full Export again (after opening this ticket), this time it DID commit the site.

    If this happens again I’ll open a ticket – something’s not right though.
