Yes – one of my tables was corrupted. I’m planning on using the extension to fix it, but I’m accessing WordPress through my university and they have a short list of plugins that the system allows us to use – we can’t access any others. I’m chatting with IT to get them to allow the fix-corrupted-tables plugin. Nothing to worry about!
You’re exactly right – I didn’t include the */ (didn’t think it was necessary as I was commenting out the entire thing). My mistake!
