look up “named anchors” i dont know what the script is, but dreamweaver does it with two clicks.
I ran an update to wp back a few months ago, and my all my posts and pages disappeared, leaving a white screen where my URL leads.
I was (am still) pretty green on this, but my host provider happen to know a thing or two, and retrieved it. I was told that the update “froze my tables”. I called hosting, and asked them to “repair” NOT replace tables.
miraculously it worked.
Im dealing with the same thing – Ive narrowed it down to shutting off the plugins manually – There is a document on the wordpress forum/help explaining how to do this.
You can use phpMyAdmin, or delete the plugin via FTP.
