In reply to: [WP Activity Log] OverwhelmingIt doesn’t deserve 2 stars and the review here isn’t fair. We use the free version and it does what we need it to. No extra advertising. Nothing bothersome. They even added the ability to search the log for free.
You as well!
I also hope you can consider this: “I’d like to ask if it’s possible for your plugin to have its own menu on the left rather than 2 menus. Right now, I see Tickets and KB Articles but they’re separate from each other. I have Tickets, then Downloads (from Easy Digital Downloads), then KB Articles, etc. It would be great to have only one called KB Support and have Tickets and KB Articles in there. It’ll use less space.”Thank you. The issue is officially resolved :)!
Hi,
It’s using the <pre> tag.
I changed it temporarily in inspect tool to <p> and it fixes it, so the issue is with <pre> tags. I verified other, functioning tickets and they use <p> tags too.
I would assume he copied and pasted a quote from another company in there and that changed his message’s formatting (since he was quoting someone else in there).
I tried various other tags there and so far only the <pre> tag causes that overflow :).
I cleared cache and viewed the ticket, cleared cache again, but the text is still overflowing =(. Is this update good for current tickets or only for new tickets?
Secondly, I’d like to ask if it’s possible for your plugin to have its own menu on the left rather than 2 menus. Right now, I see Tickets and KB Articles but they’re separate from each other. I have Tickets, then Downloads (from Easy Digital Downloads), then KB Articles, etc. It would be great to have only one called KB Support and have Tickets and KB Articles in there. Thank you! I’ll mark this as resolved and wait for the next update.
Here’s another screenshot that shows that he used a different font somehow. https://ibb.co/gdWbfg3
Here’s another showing an older ticket from another user with the normal, usual font. https://ibb.co/fM9Y02k
There’s also something off with KB Support where some tickets take a long time to load (keeps loading a ticket for 3+ minutes) and eventually crash the website, but that’s another issue. Sometimes clearing cache from KB Support’s ticket page solves it. I think the plugin needs work (and your website too..).
It is the recent one as mentioned, version 1.5.85.

Hi Mike,
This one? “New: You can now duplicate posts and/or pages into new sites (maximum 3 per type)”
I haven’t tried it yet, but thank you for any update released :).

In reply to: [PostMagazine] Slider BrokeStrange…but I just now went to your site and see the slider you installed working.
I’m guessing things are OK now?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [PostMagazine] Slider BrokeWhat happens if you go to an inner page of your site? Open a page in your editor and use the permalink showing there and see what happens.

In reply to: [PostMagazine] Slider BrokeUnderstandable.
Basically the only other thing I can suggest, is to try and remember everything you might have done, even if it was just adding some content to a page, but to go back to when everything was working.Sometimes even a simple thing that we do that we didn’t know we did can cause major problems. From what I am seeing though, something has seriously caused a lot of breakage. When I look at your site’s front page and the source code, the bottom half of the code is missing, such as the closing body and html tags. The last container I see is:
<div id="bottom1"That doesn’t even have a closing bracket and everything after that is missing.
What version is the theme you are using? Just to make sure, I’m going to create a test install of WordPress and install the theme to see if there’s anything broken.
What is this sign up form popup that I see code for in your page content? Can you take that out?

In reply to: [PostMagazine] Slider BrokeOne other possibility to test things is to use a default WordPress theme like Twenty Seventeen, or sixteen and see what happens.
Perhaps delete the PostMagazine theme and reinstall it?
Another question… did you add any HTML code to a widget? You would be surprised what a single opening or closing quote or tag can do to a site if missing.
