In reply to: [WooCommerce] GeoLocation stopped workingThank you for your input. Seems like this is the place where it’s loaded. Question is if there is a simple solution to shutting down this function. Seems like the settings in WooCommerce won’t change this.
Another problem is that since we’re using a checkout from Klarna which is loaded via an iFrame solution, WooCommerce regular checkout process is not really used. So The client is actually typing in their final addresses in the Klarna module. So i’m guessing this is making it more complicated 🙁

In reply to: [WooCommerce] GeoLocation stopped workingYes that’s it! I have no idea why this is displayed in the first place but it’s that. Since we have no idea why it’s popping up I guess hiding it with CSS might be the only solution perhaps :/ Thanks for the help

Now it seems like the country is selected correct but there is still the text “shipping cost will be calculated in the checkout” eventhough there is already options on shipping presented above this text. So this text itself does not seem to be able to remove.

Seems like the trouble might be connected to older php-versions (7.2). But one issue still remains and that is that the text shown in the cart about shipping cost will be calculated in the checkout is not possible to remove.

– I’ve tried the method on updating the MaxMind manually. Maybe it helped fixing the correct currency selector. Still I seem to have problem with serving the correct language. We have a Google Translate that serves the correct language and it only shows Swedish all the time. So it could still be some issue with this part I think.
– Ive updated the token to a new one at MaxMind also. And the cron job has been run twice.
– When I activate the option to input country in the cart the shipping changes acordingly so that part seems to work. Problem is that we need correct currencies since we have other rates for different countries and if people put their country in manually in the cart we’ve noticed some people are skipping it or changing to another country with better rates.
– I also looked into what services my php hosts and I’m attaching a list of it if something seems to be inactive that is crucial. Maybe there was a reset when we changed the version?

Since the currency and language does not change on the site I’m guessing there is some odd thing about the Geolocation part.
