In reply to: [Pinnacle] Restting footer copyright datePlease don’t apologize–I’m new to the more technical aspects of WordPress, and while I have a lot of programming and web background, I’ve managed to avoid PHP most of my life.
Under Appearance, I see Themes, Customize, Widgets, Menus, Custom CSS, Edit CSS, Theme Recommended Plugins, and Editor, and when I select Themes I don’t see anything about Options. I do see a Customize button on the “Active: Pinnacle Premium” thumbnail, but after selecting that I don’t see Misc Settings or anything else that leads to the setting of specific values such as copyright text.
I also see that we’re using 1.3.3 of Pinnacle Premium and that 1.5.4 is available. I’m going ask the people I inherited from before I upgrade.

In reply to: [Pinnacle] Restting footer copyright dateThanks for the very quick answer. (And please forgive my misspelling of “Resetting.”)
It looks like I was looking at footer.php when I should have been looking at templates/footer.php.
When I did as you suggested, it didn’t output anything. Maybe $pinnacle[‘footer_text’] is empty? How can I check?
