Ok, I will try that. What about the IP issue – IPs other than white list are able to login?
… and thanks so much for your timely support! In advanced settings Remote_Addr
For the ping back, Disable Pingback Functionality From XMLRPC: is checked
Completely Block Access To XMLRPC: is not checked b/c I’m using some
Jetpack functionsThe only IP address in the ‘white listed address” field is my normal IP address. In order to test it, I run my VPN, which uses a different IP address. Therefore when I attempt to login, it should not let me since I am coming in with a different IP address. But it lets me login as normal – even tho I am attempting it from an IP that is not in my whitelist.
I think you miss the more important point of this issue. Yes it was caused by a permission problem, but my point is why wasn’t I notified that the backup failed. That is the problem that resulted in my site not being backed up for 5 months.
IMHO I think that you should find out how you can detect this log error, and then send out an email notification.- This reply was modified 7 years, 1 month ago by Bob Leggett.

In reply to: [Animate It!] Text attributes not being usedThat worked – but I put it with the ‘site-title’ instead of ‘site-branding’ and it worked great.
Thanks for your help!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Animate It!] Text attributes not being usedOk, here’s the portion of code in my child header.php:
<div class=”site-branding”> ” title=”<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( ‘name’, ‘display’ ) ); ?>” rel=”home”> <h1 class=”site-title”><?php bloginfo( ‘name’ ); ?></h1> <h2 class=”site-description”><?php bloginfo( ‘description’ ); ?></h2> </div><!–.site-branding–>[Moderator note: code fixed. Please wrap code in the backtick character or use the code button.]
And this is the generated code from your link:
animated bounceInUp duration4 eds-on-scrollI changed “site-title” to “animated bounceInUp duration4 eds-on-scroll” and it bounces up but the text color is lost – shows as color: Inherit, but was #fff white before.
Sorry I’m not versed well yet in html…thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Animate It!] Text attributes not being used… and then I want to animate text in my heading text
How do I it if the existing code is this in my theme’s header.php:
<h1 class=”site-title”><?php bloginfo( ‘name’ ); ?></h1>[Moderator note: code fixed. Please wrap code in the backtick character or use the code button.]
where I want ‘name’ to be animated .

In reply to: [Read More Without Refresh] Very nice. Can you expand on where exactly to add the code in the index.php?
I put it at the very end and I’m not getting any fade.
Thanks!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Nisarg] “Read More” change requestThank you. The logic used in twenty seventeen for their “continue reading” looks to be quite good since it allows the write to determine where the ‘continue reading’ break will occur and maintains the original formatting for the summary display. If there is no <– more tags in the blog, it looks like it will just display a certain number of words but keeps the original format.
Thanks for your consideration. Do you have a schedule for when you make your design change decisons?

In reply to: [Nisarg] Just upgraded the theme, now not workingFalguni,
Thanks for your response. I found that if I used the main theme instead of the child theme I created, it worked fine. So I re-created my child theme and it is working again. Can you tell me how to make it so on my blog posts that when they click on the “Read More” button it brings up the remainder of the post from where they are instead of going back to the top as it does now. Otherwise they have to re-read/scan what they have already read and try to find where they left off.
Thanks! Otherwise I Love the theme.
