Good idea and thank you. That seems to have fixed it!
I am still having this problem – slides say “slide content” but they look OK on the actual page. I am using WP5.6.2, the latest SA – 2.3.33 – and Yoast but Yoast PRO Version 15.9.1.
Can this be used or modified to search custom post types, also?

In reply to: [Simple Page Tester] Redirect LoopsI am also seeing redirect loops, but only on the live site, staging and test sites work perfectly. I’ve had hosting look into everything, have checked DNS and other plugins, and can not yet get this to work. We are testing the home page which may be part of the problem.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Client not recieving notificationsDUDE.
I forget why they added 2 emails in there. I know there was a reason but it escapes me.
I removed one – and did a topic update – and got the notification.
Success!
Thanks so much for all the help – this has been an issue for a while and it’s great to get it resolved.
I am not sure where this falls on the stupid-o-meter – i am guessing somewhere in the middle, but, I glad it’s resolved.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Client not recieving notificationsAt long last, SMTP is up and running.
I can receive test messages and password reset emails.
I am still not seeing forum update notices, in email or in spam, and neither is my client.
So – what’s the next step? Is there even a next step?

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Client not recieving notificationsI could do that if i wasn’t so stupid. D’oh.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Client not recieving notificationsHi Vinny – thanks for checking in.
Sadly – i still don’t have the SMTP creds from my client, so, I have yet to test it. ARGH.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Client not recieving notificationsI tried some of the things on stackexchange, was unable to learn much of anything.
maybe I am doing it wrong.
I was able to get one debug log which is full of weird username things that seem unrelated to email. so – that wasn’t so helpful.
Going to try and get SMTP set up and see if that changes anything.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Client not recieving notificationsI did see that. i can check that out – I was on another call for the same client but for a different issue – so i am just confusing myself at this point!
FWIW hosting checked settings on their end and all looks OK.
Do you think switching to SMTP would fix it?

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Client not recieving notificationsMy bad. i didn’t notice it was an update to an earlier function so i was adding it vs replacing it.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Client not recieving notificationsI’ll try this next. i *want* to be using an smtp plugin, but, it’s been a challenge getting that info from the client’s end.

In reply to: [bbPress Notify (No-Spam)] Client not recieving notificationsSo – while i can in fact recieve password reset emails, but not these – is that a server setting somewhere do you think? or some other conflict?
