It looks that way, but it is still a part of several compliance automation tools and tests. I understand the hesitation to add the deprecated or obsolete attribute. Would you be open to adding a custom attribute field, which would allow the user to specify both the attribute and the value.
I ended up resetting URE under Settings>Tools and everything got back to normal, although had to recreate new roles.
