In reply to: Main domain, subdomains and nice URLs – howto?I see should have explained myself a bit better.
I want a blog without the
/blog/stuffed in the middle. I also want to use subdomains for my other blogs, without redirects and with clean rewrites. The photoblog I will be hosting should be nothing more/less thanhttp://photo.bareform.no/postname, and my main blog should have no subfolder directory, as my main site is my blog. How?
- Will I need to move my entire WP structure (all WP files) to the root?
- What about http/rewrites (or whatever else makes the niceURL rise and shine)
I am really trying to wrap my head around this. I made it in part when I had multiple blogs, databases etc, but I hated that multiple login/themes/upgrade and this time I’m a little stuck. 🙂

In reply to: Major (database access?) problemOk, even editing the settings of the installation produces no result. That’s an insight.
Seems everything I do just doesn’t enter into the database. Reading goes well, but writing is no go.

In reply to: can not upload image (adding new post)I’m having this trouble as well. Worked fine befor upgrading to 2.9.2.
For me, the flash uploader is stuck at 0%, and then nothing happens. No image seems to be uploaded. The browser uploader just takes me to the media screen after “uploading”. No picture is in the database, BUT the image has been uploaded, and sits on the server.
I have tried setting the “Full URL path to files”, but this just resets itself to empty after being saved. Any1?
