I have been having this same issue for a couple months. All of my posts had share counts until we switched to HTTPS. I updated to 3.3.9 but that did not work. I then installed 3.4.0 as suggested, but still no dice.
The strange thing is that some posts will record a few shares, but most will record 0.
One thing worth trying is reindexing the posts – “Recreate Index” button at the bottom.
I did this before commenting. No change.
Another thing which is a lot more complicated and requires you to change the table from myISAM to InnoDB and vice versa
This is over my head and will require quite a bit of time investment on my part. Before I dive in, could you walk through the logic of how that would help?
I am having a similar issue with a client site.

Post that should show up first: https://www.kchealthykids.org/how-walkable-is-your-neighborhood/However, that post shows up 14th. There are only two posts on the site that use the word “detective”.
What should I check into first?
