In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Use comments to translators instead of _x()Hi @tobifjellner,
Thank you so much for the feedback, I am looking at some automations to highlight which ones are missing.
You are correct, it has been a while since we’ve done a good re-visit of some of the old strings.
We do have a standard to use// Translators: for any new strings.Best regards,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Unoptimized; DoS risk.@benniledl @dorgs04
I get all notifications from this Topic, my bad on the delayed response.
If anyone wants to do a Pull Request on this it would be amazing, it is always helpful and I will personally make sure someone on our Engineering team gets it to QA in the next Maintenance Release cycle.
We have a couple of massive projects ending now before Black Friday, which will free up engineering to start looking at theses problems, we are hopeful to get at least a couple of Pull Requests to improve performance before the end of the year, but we need to make sure we properly QA before it goes out to users.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] Colors are brokenHi @dee987
Do you mind checking with
WP_DEBUGturned on? It seems like it might be something specific to your setup, which means I would need more specifics to be able to debug and figure out where exactly the cause of the issues is.
