I 100% agree with the statement at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/very-restrictive-and-more-expensive/. I was the originator of the ticket at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/cant-log-into-time-ly-from-within-dashboard/#post-17727369 and can say with authority that they have no incentive or desire to help.
I’ve moved on to a different calendar plugin which I’m rather happy with. For my personal implementation, I’m *only* using an imported Google Calendar and this plugin (https://github.com/lbell/pretty-google-calendar) does the trick rather nicely.
While not the perfect answer, when I changed from PHP 7.3 to v7.4.8, the warning appears to have stopped.
BTW, I’m stealing the termite reference…pretty good way of describing an annoyance!
I hope this helps and that time.ly will pay attention.
Best,
-RayI don’t work for time.ly, but I do know that when you’re asking for help, being snarky probably isn’t the right way to go about it.
Now—to the issue. What version of PHP is your website running on? Also, an undefined index warning is just that, a warning.
Is the site/calendar functional?
I look very much forward to your reply.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Google Calendar not refreshingHover over Events in the left vertical bar of your dashboard, then click Import Feeds. Go to the “My Feeds” tab and click the feed name. Then you’ll see Refresh / Edit / Remove at the bottom right. Click Refresh and it will go out to the google cal and pull in your events and sync them.
I hope this helps

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Google Calendar not refreshingI had to click on the Import Feeds button and actually hit the ‘Refresh’ button to get mine to update. Works fine for me.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Don’t use it. It is not freeI don’t work for time.ly, but I do use the free version and not only is your statement untrue, comparing it to ransomware is downright vicious.
The folks at time.ly have been helpful to me and I’ve not had any problems with their great plugin. I rely on displaying my imported calendar to my website visitors and the plugin works and works well.
Respectfully, I think you’re entirely wrong about this.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Horrible SupportFor the record, I’ve never received better support from anyone than I got from the author and team of this plug-in. I’m sure you’ll get satisfaction if you give them the opportunity. and no, I’m not related to, nor do I work for them.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Great supportThis…exactly. It’s a fantastic plug-in, but Sunny Lal rocks in every way that’s positive. I am a happy customer for life.
Hi Sunny,
Thanks again for the information and support. I will look forward to some announcement when it is functioning as expected with PHP v7.2, as that’s the primary version on my production server.
You’ve been kind and helpful and I am grateful for the conversation and knowledge.
Best,
-RayHi Sunny,
It appears that with PHP v7.0, all is well and I was able to import 188 events.
While I am truly grateful for and appreciative of your help, do you know the roadmap towards v7.2 compatibility?
While I believe that this is a PHP version incompatibility, moving back to 5.6 has serious security implications.
The PHP.net website lists updates and security support as being expired in Dec 2018 which is why sites on my server use 7.1 and higher.
(http://php.net/supported-versions.php)Is there another potential work-around?
Absolutely and many thanks in advance for your help!
I let this run over 20 hours – and still only got 3 events. This is my bookings calendar and I’ve got some through December 2019, so it is definitely something not right. The server is CentOS 6.9 running PHP 7.2 on the most recent release of WP and the Time.Ly plugin.
Thanks again!
-RayHi Sunny and thank you for your kind reply. I am the system administrator, and have changed the server-wide memory limit for PHP to 512MB, as well as added the define to the wp-config file with no change in the calendar’s import behavior.
If you have any other thoughts, I’d be happy to entertain them.
Thanks,
-Ray
