Hi – that’s the page I referenced above (shouldn’t have shortened the URL… :-))
The information outside the “This code recipe requires a PMPro Core Account or higher” message doesn’t help me much, but I’m willing to dig in to learn. I’ve contacted Elementor to ask about the content filter as well. Not sure exactly where to change things but I’ll give it a try!

In reply to: [Content Aware Sidebars - Fastest Widget Area Plugin] 30,000 pages generatedTo be honest, I can’t remember what I had done just before, but I’m pretty sure the page creation occurred while I was checking the CAS settings.
A day or so after the update (I hadn’t worked on the site since), I noticed that none of the custom sidebars were displaying, and so I went back to see what had gone wrong. First strange problem: I couldn’t get the conditions dropdowns to stick on the “edit sidebar” page; they expanded and then rolled back up.
So I went to one of the pages where the sidebar should have appeared. While I was working on one of the pages – checking and unchecking the sidebar there – and then reloading the page to see if the changes had worked, the page seemed to get stuck in an infinite loop.
I tried a few times (generating a few thousand pages at a time without realizing it…!) then I got fed up and shut down the site for the evening. This morning I noticed the extra pages.
I’ve deleted the 30,000-some pages and reactivated the plugin; for the moment everything seems all right. Holding my breath…!

In reply to: [Content Aware Sidebars - Fastest Widget Area Plugin] 30,000 pages generatedSure. I’m using GeneratePress, and lots of plugins – I’ll make a list, but meanwhile, can you tell me which plugin was incompatible? It might save some time…
The error occurred after the update.

In reply to: [Visual CSS Style Editor] Just Wants Your MoneyI concur that this is an undeserved review. I’ve been using the lite version, and have only today decided to buy the pro version – NOT because of features I really needed but because I want to support the authors for making such a great plugin!

In reply to: [Hueman] 3.3.9 Double headersI know the theme shouldn’t have double headers, but it did for a while there, I promise. 🙂
I’ve tossed the child theme, cleared all caches, and turned on and off various header settings; it seems ok now. I don’t really need a child theme for this particular site, so the problem is solved for the moment.

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Logo and frontpage section images not resizingHi – no – apparently it just took more than 24 hours for the cached versions to disappear. Thanks for getting back to me!

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Logo and frontpage section images not resizingHi – In Safari, everything’s fine. In Chrome, I get the following error. The page won’t load at all now. It may be that the old version is still in there somewhere in spite of my having purged everything ten times… but here’s the error message:
<b>Fatal error</b>: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function has_custom_logo() in …/public_html/wocf/wp-content/themes/zerif-lite/header.php:81

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Logo and frontpage section images not resizingFunny – it’s working in some browsers but not others. I’ll give everything time to clear up and check again tomorrow. 🙂 (I’ve cleared all caches, but to no avail.)

In reply to: [Network Subsite User Registration] Error message and registration textWow, seamless. This should be an option to turn on/off in core. Any reason it isn’t??
Yes, I realize I should have said that differently. 🙂
Thank you, I’ll try that.
I’m sure other users have plugins that create taxonomies, and someone else may run into this situation. It’s a UM issue in the sense that there’s a hitch in the way it plays with other plugins. (They both work fine on their own, and the problem is in the UM options, not the other plugin’s.)
I’m not using the paid version of UM yet, so can’t post this on the UM site; if the plugin developers are interested in looking into it I’d be happy to provide more information.
? This is a UM option… I don’t see how this is the wrong forum??
This occurs when changing permissions from logged-in users to “Content accessible by everyone”. I reproduced it by creating a new category, restricting it to logged-in users (worked fine) then changing permissions to “everyone”; this is where the problem occurs.
I cannot save the changes without specifying a URL redirect, but I don’t need to redirect anyone anywhere.

In reply to: [New User Approve] User Approved, but Not Able to Log In – 4.6 Update Issue? Thanks for the suggestion – I tried it, but it doesn’t seem to work on my site.
I’m using Toolset to build my site, and the only function I need that it doesn’t offer is registration moderation. I usually use something like Ultimate Member but I really didn’t want to add a full-blown membership plugin. I may have to after all.
It would be great if the plugin author could fix this… And meanwhile, registration approval is such a basic need that I’m surprised it’s not part of WordPress core.
