SOLVED: downloading the latest version from the plug-in website. This was a later version than WordPress pushed. Solved the issue.

I am aware this is a Pro feature. And I have submitted a ticket yesterday. But since I haven’t received any respons yet, I am trying all my options. It’s simply too important for us.
