Avada has fixed this (patch # 423548) – the fix is available in Avada’s “Patcher” area. Stripe 10.4.0 now works as expected.
Just FYI – I’m also able to reproduce this same issue as described by the original poster. Changing from Interaction-Only to Always allows it to work as expected, but its consistently broken if set to Interaction-Only.
I’ve tested on two separate sites/servers and both exhibit the same behavior.
