My particular issue was that I wasn’t clicking on the actual blog post title/link. Once I did the bio box was there at the bottom and is working fine.
I was expecting the author bio box to appear on the main front page (static home page) at the end of the post, but it is not designed that way and not sure it’s possible.
Hopefully that makes sense and helps.
