OK, thanks Bas. I put this part on hold because I’m still trying to get the site launched, but I will get back to it. When I am able to work on it, I will update status or ask additional questions. Thanks again.
BrianBas, thank you for the feedback. Are you saying that the bad practice is switching the png image during mouse hover?
If so, I can understand that. I like the way the hover “lights up” the button, but maybe I can shift approach and just light up the letters themselves.
Would a good-practice approach be to recreate the button images (to provide for various word lengths) with blank no-text faces and then use the plugin to provide the text and alter the text color on hover?
Is my thinking accurate? Do you have any other better suggestion for an approach?Button normal & hover images for reference:
