In reply to: Slow site after 3.6.1 upgradeOkay, in my case it was a server issue that just happened to start right after the 3.6.1 update. From DreamHost support: “Thank you for contacting us and I apologize for the problems you’ve been having with your sites. I noticed that your apache service wasn’t responding properly. I have closed the hung processes then restarted your apache service and now your sites are working well again.”
Sites are flying again. False alarm as far as 3.6.1 goes (unless somehow it mucked up Apache). 🙂

In reply to: Slow site after 3.6.1 upgradeHere’s a thread where someone with DreamHost got their implementation moved to a different data center and it solved the problem. *shrug*

In reply to: Slow site after 3.6.1 upgradeFWIW, I’m seeing the same things with my site after upgrading to 3.6.1. Very discouraging for someone with not a ton of troubleshooting experience. Tried with plugins disabled and default theme but still exceptionally slow. Have a support ticket in with DreamHost but wanted to add support to the thread; this only happened after the 3.6.1 update.
Same thing here. Thanks to the tip about going into the site and then back into admin — I was a bit worried for a minute when all my clicks generated the error!

In reply to: [AutoChimp] Fatal Error after UpgradeEDIT: Discovered that my host allows me to change the PHP version to 5.4 in the control panel. The support person I was working with apparently had no idea this was possible. SMH….
Plugin activated just fine after that. 🙂
