I managed to find a work around by choosing custom post types.

Would still like to see this functionality resolved for others who might be having this issue,

Also to,

it also seems the “Except the URLs:” only works for one line, multiple lines get ignored.

Are you aware of this?
If so, is there a ETA on when this will be resolved/fixed
