In reply to: [Redirection] Regex appears to not work…John, thanks for the lightning fast response!
It’s not browser cache, as I have tested clearing that and get the same null result.
It’s not server cache, as that is disabled.
I also don’t think it’s due to the .html file type being otherwise redirected as I can access the WordPress “readme.html” that is included in every WordPress install.
Any other ideas? This isn’t critical, but it sure would help to make a cleaner transition from a Joomla-based site to a WordPress-based site I’m currently working on…
Thanks!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Only 1 category shows on list viewI suppose that one of potentially multiple categories needs to be marked as “Category Priority” to assign a color to it, but I don’t see any reason not to list the additional categories in the List view. Could you please pass on this request to your developers?
Thanks!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Only 1 category shows on list viewAs of v6.14, The Events Calendar plugin includes the “Category Colors” functionality that previously existed in the separate The Events Calendar: Category Colors plugin also developed by StellarWP (see here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/important-category-colors-plugin-has-been-merged-into-the-events-calendar/).
To turn on the “Category Colors” functionality follow the instructions that I included in my previous response (this is a standard option in the plugin now). This will implement a new “List” calendar view that includes categories (with colors) as part of the list. You will see that only the first alphabetical category is listed regardless of how many categories are assigned to the event.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Only 1 category shows on list viewThis is on a development site, so I don’t particularly care to post a link. However, it should be easy enough for you to reproduce. Just enable the “Category Colors” feature that was recently incorporated into The Events Calendar (Events ==> Settings ==> Display ==> Category Colors).
I’ve checked that this isn’t due to the theme installed (still happens with the “Twenty Twenty-Five” theme activated) nor due to my use of the Elementor page builder and associated plugins (deactivated “Elementor” and issue still happens). Disabling the “Category Colors” feature toggles the behavior.

In reply to: [Advanced AJAX Product Filters] Change widget title tag from h3 to h5Works perfectly. Much appreciated!
Feature request submitted.
Ahir, thank you for the solution. I was hoping that WooCommerce would recognize the need for the ability to save a true “draft” order for longer than 1 day and implement some way of doing so. I can’t be the only one that needs this feature…

In reply to: [Advanced AJAX Product Filters] Filter option for attribute similar to priceSorry, this is a duplicate…
No worries.
I am using the latest version of EmbedPress and it was working previously on my site. I have tested rolling back to previous versions with no success in getting your plugin to function. I finally gave up spending my valuable time on troubleshooting this issue and just used another plugin which works with no issues.
Thanks for the response…
I’m also having this issue, only that it is for all browsers that I have tested on MacOS (Safari, Chrome, and Firefox; each at the latest versions). It appears that this is isolated to the “Modern” viewer style; the “Flip Book” viewer style works fine.
Please investigate this issue further… I’m happy to provide an example URL if necessary.
Thanks!

The customer name doesn’t appear at all on the invoice. Screenshot:

The user account obviously has the first name, last name, and email address populated. Screenshot:

When viewing the order in WooCommerce, the customer name is displayed in the “Customer:” dropdown.
Does the first name/last name need to be set in the shipping/billing addresses tied to WooCommerce? That would make sense, but perhaps a fallback to using the first name/last name stored in the WordPress User database is needed for scenarios like ours.
Thanks for the assistance!
So, I guess the answer is “no” that Jetpack doesn’t expose any end-user facing ability to configure plugin settings access for custom user roles (either to custom user role plugins like “Members” or “User Role Editor” or via any Jetpack setting). I’ve already created a custom user role with less that full administrator privileges and it appears that the Jetpack section of the dashboard can’t be removed. Using the built-in WordPress user roles doesn’t work as none of them provide the detailed restrictions that I need.
I used to be a big user of Jetpack, but am becoming less and less fond of this plugin as it just doesn’t seem to work well for anything beyond very simple applications. This being just one example of that.
Thanks!
I’m not asking for you to “configure a third-party plugin”, I’m asking if the Jetpack plugin exposes a “capability” that I can utilize to suppress a given WordPress user role from accessing Jetpack settings.
Configuring my email as a “newsletter” won’t solve this issue as there is no recurring option in that case. This email needs to go out on a weekly basis, not just once.
