I figured out it was absolutely positioned CSS that made the plugin code appear all the way at the top of the page, so adjusting that worked.
I found an alternate solution, thanks.
Keep in mind I am trying to replace the banner which is coded into the template with the slider. This isn’t something I can add via the WYSIWIG page editor.

In reply to: add a video header instead of imageThe video is being embedded on other pages using shortcode. I tried adding this to the template of the page I am trying to add the video too but it won’t render.
echo do_shortcode( '[brightcove videoID=4734089102001 playerID=3866869096001 height=270 width=480]' );I also found a plugin that will add a featured video but alas Brightcode isn’t supported [sigh]
