I saw some other forum posts referring to this fix, however in the latest version of the plug-in I don’t see this file listed.

Am I understanding you correctly? We should create a 2nd htaccess file and place it in wp-admin? When I do that, it breaks everything in wp-admin. (All URLs are 404 errors).
Should this be added to the main htaccess file in the root folder instead?
