You keep referencing the UI. I understand the UI issues and was willing to work through those issues and come up with my own short term fixes for certain things like selecting a user over adding an email address. I am reasonable. I know the stress of running a business. Even with the UI issues I said in the beginning this is one of the best plugins I have tried. But, there is A serious issue.

Your response as it reads now is not rude, but that is not what it originally said.

You have a blog post on your site about leaving twitter (x) over the toxic environment. Ok, what is a toxicity environment? Does it include dishonesty? Now, honestly, did you edit your response to me trying to tell you this is a serious bug that could effect users storage and database?

There was people with me when I read your reply and I sent the original to two other people before it was edited because I was in so much shock that a developer would say then don’t use my plugin. Just because we are pointing out what appears to be a serious bug.

I am not speaking of how your reply reads now.

I noticed that you edited your response from the rude one you left. Something to the effect of if this is a deal breaker for you, then don’t use our plugin. Too late. I tried to notify you of a serious bug. Not a feature. Images, when deleted, are still in the folder and database. How is that not serious, and it did not require your rude response that you edited away? What, did you forget that everyone can see your comments?

Final question: Sorry for so many. As I said when I first emailed you guys directly. We are testing multiple plugins to see which to use. We like yours the most because of its ease of use. Even though we found some issues.

From you “No, we are not working on changing or replacing the uploader at this point.”

Why? My question is fixing. Why not fix?

The main feature of your plugin is to create galleries. This is what everything revolves around. The main feature of your plugin is to create a gallery, that process does not work properly in standard use cases. If you do not get the creation of your gallery perfect the first time, you have to remove the images and start over. However, the images remain in the database and storage. Unnecessarily increase your database size and storage.

    That is a horrible

I know you can drag images onto the screen to add more images, but our sites are for clients. Clients do not do what you want; they do what they want. They rarely get things correct the first time. They will most likely use the add button after creating their gallery and call it broke. As we did.

So, If I may, why do you feel that the main feature, creating and editing galleries, does not have to work properly? Meaning you can create, add, modify the order of images, and delete images. I say main because what is your plugin without a gallery? If your plugin’s main feature (I say main because what is your plugin without a gallery?) is not working as end users would expect why do you feel it should not be fixed?

    Sorry for delay. Been sick.

    1. Select user instead/a well to add email address: We just used ACF to add a user field. Then, pass the selected user’s email to the email field. Will this be ok for now, or if you are working on adding a user field will this conflict?
    2. Uploading media to a collection is buggy:…. (Your response)Yes, the uploader as it is can be used for initial upload as well as adding more images later, but not really to delete and/or manage images later on.
      • Our question: Is there a fix in the works since you know it’s buggy?
    3. Link to website from collection: (your response) Yes. By default, your clients – after they approved and sent their selection – should be redirected to your homepage/frontpage. In Pro, you can customize the URL that is used, in case you want to redirect to another place.
      • The point of this question is that if a client does not go through the entire process as you designed it. There are no design cues for the client to get to the homepage, my account page, or anywhere, even though the client is on your website. They would have to leave the website and go back to the website to get to a my-account page or homepage from the gallery if the client does not go through the entire process. I read that you can override the title to add a link through a plugin, but this seems like overkill for what appears to be a design overlook. There’s no way to get back to the home page if a user does not follow the process. In the pro version, is there a simple way to set the title to be the link without writing a plugin? You shouldn’t have to write a plugin to get the home page. It’s like someone building a website for you and forgetting to put a link to the homepage and telling you it’s a feature because you can write a code for it. Yeah, but a link to the home page is basic UI.

Sorry for delay in response. I didn’t see wordpress email. I had to turn pwa plugin off. It made my site very slow. But, when it was activated the plugin caused my site when accessed to get directly to the server to get the website files. A request for the site was bypassing our cdn where the minified files are stored. This caused our site to be very slow. I can turn the plugin back on and send a screen shot of console, but I can’t leave it running. Makes site to slow.
